The upgraded room was a bit smaller than expected, but the bathroom was large and we had a view of the canal. The lobby was small, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. "

The terrace on Grand Canal is a wonderful place for hanging out and the hotel is an easy walk from St. Marks, museums and designer shops. Breakfast is included and abundant, and drinks and/or snacks outside on the terrace is a joy in good weather. The 7th-floor bar and restaurant provide a breathtaking panorama of the city. "

"Close enough to walk everywhere easily but away enough to not feel like you are in Times Square type of crowding. Hotel was clean and beautiful. The shower water pressure wasn’t the greatest but that’s really the only downside. Air conditioning, shopping and food close, it was a great stay."

If we had done more than sleep in the room the condition of the tired armchairs might have mattered, but they had been made to look nice. Nice size ensuite with good size shower. Truly the location was spectacular."
