    Charged for the room...over and over

    I prepaid the room through Expedia. On checkout, they insisted I didn't and charged me again. I called Expedia and the representative was able to get them to credit back the money. A day later, I saw a charge from the hotel for the room...again...plus an extra $100. I emailed customer service, who responded and had the money credited back yet again. A couple days later they did it again. I once again emailed customer service and they had it credited back for a 3rd time. They do put a hold on your credit card since there is a mini bar in the room, but these were separate instances. The room itself was amazing and the room service was excellent. However, since overall I was charged 4 times for the room, and had to bring it to their attention each time, I will not be staying there again.

    Neighbourhood recommendations: The Gaslamp District has tons of fun stuff for young people. Several bars, clubs and restraunts.

    Andaz rocks in San Diego

    The San Diego Andaz is a chic, modern hotel with excellent service and a prime location in the Gaslamp district. It is one of my favorite places to stay in San Diego. The restaurant has a great value happy hour bar menu with oinnovative and delicious light dinner options.

    Neighbourhood recommendations: Gas Lamp - Where the best restaurants and bars are located. Easy location to get to anywhere in San Diego.
