I love the proximity to the airport and local restaurants and shopping. The room was nice but needs some upgrades down in the bathroom. Wash cloths were stained and roof above shower leaked.

We made reservations ahead of time. When we checked in we were told that they were over booked and we could tell Valorie (who was awesome and very helpful and apologetic regarding the situation) was struggling to find us a room. She found us one and we headed up just to find out our key did not work. Back down we went to get a new key! Still did not work. She finally gave us a key for management only. The key worked however someone was already assigned this room and we woke him up entering his room as it was 1am in the morning! Their system showed NO ONE in this room. This was very dangerous and we felt unsafe at this point. Calories found us a suite and personal took us up to it. The counter was very old and the furniture was dirty! We (and Valorie) were not satisfied with this room so she found us another suite that was a little better. At this point we just needed some sleep as we were heading out 1st thing in the morning. We do not recommend this hotel. Valorie was amazing and was left a mess when she started her shift.

My group used this hotel as we had a 5 a.m. flight heading out of San Antonio international Airport. Our group stayed out late on the riverwalk which was not far and we only used the room for the bed and the shower. This stay was very close to the airport (10 min drive) and we were able to fill our rental car with gas and return the car. I would stay at this hotel again if under the same circumstances. If I was not flying out the next day, I think I would have chosen a stay in the city. However, this stay makes sense if you have access to a car.
