"We planned to stay at this little cabin to view the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Planning about 1 1/2 years ahead of time we were hoping for good weather. The weather was perfect as was the cabin. We love the little fishing pond and the quite of the mountain. Morning sunrises beautiful. The cabin had anything you may need including a nice spice selection. Everyone in Arkansas, from the moment we crossed across the Arkansas state line, was nothing but kind, hospitable and courteous. We will be back...

"My sister and I chose a half-way destination for a short trip. Since we both live in large cities, we enjoyed the privacy and location of this cabin. We brought our outdoor chairs and enjoyed viewing the trees from the back deck. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and pans. "I booked this place as a surprise anniversary get away. We loved our stay here. We enjoyed staying in watching The Lord of the Rings right next to the beautiful hobbit door! We also enjoyed venturing out to some great State Parks: Less than 10 minutes from Lake Dardanelle and about 45 min from Petit Jean. The Hobbit House also seemed like it would be a great getaway for a family or friends who love Tolkien. Kitchen is great if you want to cook your own meals and the couches and bed are comfy....
