There was a general store nearby for some supplies, but most shopping required a bigger store. The location was near enough to Paihia for restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. The kitchen was well equipped and had enough stainless steel countertop to make workspace for the cutting boards, etc. The 2 under-counter fridges were sufficient for our needs. The beds...

"We had a great stay at the Boathouse. The location is excellent and the place is unique. The ferry is right next door, which can be a little noisy for some, but we loved the harbour experience with the boats floating past our patio. The place has everything you need, it's very neat and we will return for sure. We had a memorable time!"

"The room was comfy inside but getting into the room was quite a challenge - as there were loose mats and uneven bricks. Got to the property at the same time as another lady and it was confusing as to who was staying where (2 rentals in the same space). Would honestly just pay extra to stay elsewhere next time. Didn’t really get enough info about checking in either."
