Relaxing, modern and contemporary studio offers guest a relaxing retreat from the busy life in town. Only 5 minutes from Onerahi shopping center, 15 minutes from Whangarei Town Basin. 8 minutes from Parua Bay Tavern and Restaurant and 7 minutes to Parua Bay boat ramp. With a Golf course near by, guests have a range of activities close by. For those who want a challenge walk the Mt Mania track and the several bush walks nearby. A range of white sand beaches maximum 35 minutes drive. Watch the sun set at night and sunrise in the morning.

The perfect long weekend getaway!

Great place to stay

Had a lovely time here a good sized apartment with everything you need for a stay. Right on the edge of the water good area in front of the property with table chairs and large umbrella. Close to Whangarei (15 minutes)or restaurants etc and 20 minutes to ocean beach

This is a unique holiday unit to stay in . At high tide the waterline is to the lawn of the property making it a great place to rest and relax , our second stay at this property and if we are up that way again we would definitely return .

I wish I could have stayed longer

Lovey place to stay, I loved waking up and looking out across the water with the pukekos wandering by. Everything I needed (and more) was there. Sad I wasn't able to stay a bit longer and the weather right for an opportunity to go for a paddle.

Ripples and Tides : Waikaraka

This is a superb modern studio holiday apartment which is situated directly on the harbour side. It is tastefully furnished to a high standard and has all of the essential amenities for a relaxing break. Theo and Raewyn are great hosts, and you are made to feel very welcome right from the start. I stayed as a solo independent traveller, but this would equally suit a couple. I would recommend Ripples and Tides to any person travelling to this area of New Zealand.

Great intro to NZ

For our first two nights in NZ, we were so pleased with this accommodation. It was comfortable, quiet and had a lovely outlook. Theo and Raewyn were friendly hosts who provided us with helpful information to find the place and also info about the region. Very happy overall.

Everything you could ask for

Ripples-n-Tide has everything you could ask for. Set in a beautiful harbour setting the studio is well equipped and modern. It is set at the back of a property on the Whangārei Heads Rd and very peaceful. Traffic noise was so minimal we were seldom aware of it. Thanks Raewyn & Theo for making our stay so enjoyable.

The stay here was really lovely!. It was close to the water and even though it was a rainy weekend. It was still really beautiful seeing all the lights on the water. The house was really clean and comfortable. Communication was super easy and very helpful :)
