The only thing decent about this property is it was close to where we were going. AC didn’t work it didn’t get below 75 degrees in the room with the AC down as low as it would go. Woke up Sunday morning to shower and there was no hot water. Would not stay here again

The property was convenient to where we were visiting in Rhinebeck. The room was basic but quiet sufficient. The bed was comfy. The room was clean. It was quiet. The shower was hot with great water pressure. The back yard of the property was messy.

Great history, great tavern, great staff, and the hamburger was awesome. All around it was a great experience and would love to return and would definitely recommend.

We chose this motel because it was dog friendly and very convenient for visiting Rhinebeck friends and family at Easter. For Rhinebeck, the price is superb! All staff was accommodating and friendly. The only drawback is that the check-in, place to get more towels and breakfast is a mile away at the Beekman Arms. We were very happy with our stay.

It's a lovely clean room, lots of space, and they clean daily. It's half a mile walk from town so don't stay if you don't like walking and don't have a car. Ubers are available but it takes a while. However, my friend and I had a great time and I would stay again in a minute!

This is owned by the Beekman Arms Inn in the center of Rhinebeck., which is where you check in, and where continental breakfast is served in the morning. It is an older motel, that is nicely updated and quaint. It is about 1/2 mile south of town on Rte 9. It I much less expensive than the main Beekman Arms Inn. Overall a very good value.

Charming, historic town.
The Inn is part of 3 affiliated hotel/inns- the main hotel is home to a historic tavern. The breakfast is served at the conference center and is a very decent spread, including a gluten-free bread. Tavern is charming and great food. The Inn is less than 1/2 mile away and was surprisingly quiet. Spacious rooms with just about anything you need. Downtown area has great shops and restaurants. View the Hudson driving over the bridge to Kingston.

You get charged for damages that are not yours. The Tv doesn’t work. No shower curtain at all and 1 towel provided. No fridge another time. Thought it was a fluke and stayed there again. The phone doesn’t work to call the front desk which is at a different location. Hidden charges for damages already present but you can’t speak to anyone after 11pm to let them know. Because when you call from your cell because the room phone doesn’t work they don’t answer. Especially when you check in late like I do. The front desk person is nice and that’s why I gave benefit of the doubt. But paying for someone else’s damage is ridiculous. Plus you have to bring your own shower curtain and towels. The rooms smell like wet dog.

This stay was much better than I expected. It is located within walking distance to town. The manager was super friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend and would reserve again when back in Rhinebeck.

good ol fashioned motel
good old fashioned motel. large comfy room. refrigerator. coffee maker. I don't drink coffee so would have been nice to have a few tea bags and an electric kettle. motel is old but all seemed to be functioning. check in is at the Beekman Arms down the street. and the free breakfast is a 6 minute drive from the motel.

The check in staff at a location other than the property were pleasant, however the motel was not kept up. Bath sink didn't drain. Fridge make noise all night. Door had wide space between door & frame allowing cold air in.

A dead mouse on the floor...not better than alive!
The trip went very well…and the hotel went well too. Rhinebeck town was fantastic! There were some things that were great at the Village Inn and two that could use some work. Good: Good hot water! Great beds! Great sheets and warm! Not so good: A dead mouse on the floor. I threw the mouse outside and then figured to take the picture for evidence! Plus the TV didn’t work, Room 11. All in all, we will do it again at the Village Inn...dead mouse or not! LOL! It was great to be there! Tom
