"The view from the front windows and patio are absolutely stunning from this property. There were four adults staying here and we were well equipped with bedrooms and bathrooms. The stairs to the property were certainly doable with luggage as you can imagine this entire region is full of them and anything under 100 steps is a win. "Villa Maria is a beautiful oasis in Ravello. Our family loved everything about our stay there. The rooms are well appointed, the food and views fantastic. Best of all the employees were truly wonderful. From the Maria-Grazie, Erika, Maria on the reception desk to Pepi and Nando in the restaurant and housekeeping (among many many others) we were extremely well taken care of. I just can’t say enough nice things about Villa Maria and the staff. And Lola the dog of course. "

"This was a little peace of paradise on earth. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. The only possible negative is that this b&b is hard to get to. It’s in the middle of the mountain with no vehicle access so you have to walk either up or down 80+ stairs (depending on where you are dropped off). So pack lightly! That 50+ lb bag feels much heavier when being lugged up what feels like a million steps, none of which are uniform. It’s great if you are fit and have a small bag."

"Villa Rosa was nice but the hill to get to the main road is vertical. They have no way to help you get to the top especially when it is time to leave with your luggage. Luciano luckily helped us with some of our luggage, but you would think with a vertical hill they would have something. The small town below doesn’t offer many different options for food, but the views are spectacular. Overall it was fine, but it’s very remote and the location is inconvenient."

"Everything was perfect since we arrived. The staff were so kind going above and beyond at every step, the room had a beautiful view—it’s a bit far from the city but apparently they have a shuttle you can ask for in advance. We stayed in a room with partial seaside view but instead we got a full view! It was as pictured, with a terrace and view to ourselves. Even if you don’t get a room with a view, they have outdoor seating with the most amazing view, and there’s beautiful live music in the evenings from 8-8:30pm. They also have their private seaside/beach area and pool open to guests—many other beaches in the area are not free, while the hotels is both private and free for guests. When we went it was nearly empty, very private, and breathtaking beauty."
