"We loved this place so much we stayed longer!! The facilities for the kids were amazing - it gave us parents time to unwind and enjoy the peace and scenery from the lodge lounge whilst the kids played safely and happily. The hosts Kaz & Sam were impeccable - friendly, helpful and happy to have a chat but not intrusive in the least. The lodge had books about the area to borrow which we enjoyed as we sipped wine in front of the fire and watched the sunset. We enjoyed the hot tub spa. The room was comfortable and the views amazing. A lovely menu for breakfast and dinner and bar menu in the afternoon. So glad we stumbled across this little peaceful gem! "

"I was extremely happy I booked this property for our family get away. When I entered the room it was nice and cozy. The staff at reception was so helpful and understanding. Overall I loved my stay will be staying here in future. The property is well looked after in terms of cleaning and every other facility. I definitely recommend this property to other travellers. One more thing parents with kids will love the little play area this place has for kids. my 6 year old was in the play area that’s with the guest lounge and it had a nice fireplace just too amazing for this colder mornings."

"The log cabin was even more beautiful than the photos. With a roaring fire to welcome us on arrival and the hot spa on the deck ready with mountain views was just bliss. Homemade crumpets and jam were just one of the special touches that made our stay so memorable. We played pool in the warmth of the heart of the house and scrabble as the sun went down. Only minutes away ftom Ohakune this gorgeous place exceeded our exoectations. It is beautifully appointed with a real charm, and super clean and tidy. A hidden gem it was a birthday treat stay that wont be forgotten. We will definitely be back "
