“Lovely Bed & Breakfast in a Manor”

The hotel is perfectly located within the walls of Old Quebec, walking distance to all the historical sites, museums, shopping, and lots of good restaurants. The room was large and beautifully furnished, with a comfortable king-sized bed. The bathroom was huge (as big as the bedroom?), with both a shower and a bathtub, and the shower sprayed from both the top and the sides, for a truly all over warm and relaxing shower. Both rooms were painted beautifully and the windows let air and light into the room. Minor complaint, it was a bit dark in our room. The closet space was huge, with built-in drawers and shelving, in case you wanted to move in. The wi-fi Internet was easy to access with a password obtained at the front desk. The hosts were by far the best part of our stay. Not only were they truly welcoming, they helped us with any questions we had, gave great restaurant recommendations, booked our whale watching trip further up the St. Lawrence, and even gave us tips for our next trip. Note: This truly is a bed and breakfast in a converted manor house, with very few rooms and the owners are the hosts. If you only stay in large hotel chains with fitness centers, bars, and restaurants, then you may be disappointed. This stay is much more like being invited to someone's extrememly well-appointed home with great staff. Wonderful experience! Thank you!

“Great Place”

This is a great small rennovated old hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a good value. They provide an excellent continental breakfast at a small additional price. It is in a great location in historic Quebec. I was there for a meeting at the convention center and it was an easy walk. I plan to go back there with my wife.

“Great place to stay in Quebec”

We were very pleased with our stay here. The hotel is conveniently located (just inside the city walls, near the Citadel), but not right in the centre, so there's very little street noise at night. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and a very reasonable price. We would definitely try to stay here again on a return visit to Quebec City.

“Lovely small hotel”

Beautiful hotel with spacious modern bathroom. The wooden parquet floor squeaked a bit, but that's to be expected. Breakfast was great, with a good selection and a charming waitress.

“lovely historical boutique hotel within the walls of old Quebec”

We really enjoyed our time at the Manoir. Very nice continental breakfast included some wonderful croissants & fresh fruit. The free tourist shuttle Ecobus stops almost in front. Steps away to all of the attractions and dozens of restaurants. Be aware that the hotel has no elevator but the exercise will let you eat more of those croissants! The staff was very helpful and will make reservations, call cabs, give directions, etc. The two suites and Room #7 would be really great for a romantic weekend.

“Have had people go back on our recomendation”

The couple who own the hotel are most accommodating as well as friendly and informative as to where to eat, visit, etc. They recommended a couple of wonderful restaurants outside the walls of Old Quebec which were wonderful.

“Lovely smaller hotel!”

Our 4th floor room was on the small side, but charming, clean and perfect for us! The bathroom is newly renovated and lovely. We knew this was a small European room, but for 3 nights, a good fit (we don't spend much time inside, anyway!). For someone looking to spend time relaxing in the room, it would be too small. No comfortable seating except the bed (and one chair at the desk). BUT, the hotel contacted us directly to make sure we were aware of that! The staff was so accommodating! They bent over backward to make our stay pleasant. I would highly recommend staying!
