This was our first time traveling to Puerto Vallarta, and I’m glad we stayed at Los Arcos Suites. We tremendously enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the hotel felt like a peaceful oasis in the midst of the lively Zona Romantica. Everything (beach, pier, the best restaurants, cafes, shops, art galleries, bus stop etc.) was just in short walking distance. Common areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated and well maintained. We loved our spacious suite with fully functional kitchen and huge balcony with partial ocean view. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!

Rooms smell really humed, the policy that you cannot bring anyone to your room and they look at you like criminals is true according to a review on google. The staff is friendly and they are good. Curtains were incredible filthy and stained by the humidity.I was going to stay but is just not worth the money.

Los Arcos has an elevator, which is very helpful in dealing with heavy bags. We also had access to beach chairs and palapa at the beachside hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here! Pros: Since it's on a 'dead' end street, it's a quiet retreat in a busy area. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The staff really take care of the property and the garden/pool area is beautiful. The shower always had hot water. It's in a great location! Cons: Even though I was told we could by others that have stayed there, we were told we could not use the pool/facilities at the sister resort, Los Arcos Hotel. We did get permission to use it one day as they were taking professional photos of the pool at the Suites. The bathroom are quite small and the plumbing is not great. Needs a bit of updating.

Our stay in Puerto Vallarta was absolutely fantastic! The hotel exceeded expectations with its attentive staff. We stayed at Los Arcos Suites (all-inclusive) for 4 nights. The hotel is located in the center of the romantic zone. Everything is around it from Pharmacy to bars, to restaurants, to el Malecon, and other establishments. The staff were very professional and nice. I would give this hotel 5 stars because I like its concept (villa-styled). However, it needs an update. Everything is downdated. It looks and smell very old. Some of the towels in our room were dirty and old. Another thing we didn't like is that we were not able to use the pool at its sistered hotel (Los Arcos Resorts). Their pool was bigger and nicer than the one the suites has. The only thing we had access to was their restaurant (buffet-styled) and the beach chairs.

The place looked cute and very traditional. It is an old hotel but they could do some TLC to the rooms. They only left 1 towel for my husband and I. The couches looked comfy but very dingy and same for the decorative pillows on the bed.

Perfect location. Clean and Mexican Style. Activities need to be advertised more so people know about them (aquasizes, bingo, shows etc) Friendly and attentive bar staff and activity guy :) Nice warm pool, not freezing!

Barely enjoyed my 3rd vacation with Arcos. Started good 2 years ago as it was my first time ever coming to Vallarta . This year unfortunately we ran bad luck with the hotel service and security guard service. Hotel is a no smoking zone which then I was redirected to walk up a little ramp near the hotel to go smoke my cigarette in peace . Next thing I know after being guided to smoke my cigarette I was ambushed by 2 Mexican police officials who claimed it was illegal to smoke in the area and was Instantly handcuffed just to be released after being extorted by official and setup by security team . I was released after all of my money had been taken from wallet and frightened off. Definitely would not be coming back to this hotel unfortunately as it been getting more and more out of control with type of incidents . Made a report which I doubt the hotel will have any repercussions to the security team let alone the Mexican officials .

I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s for many reasons , location, comfort, cleanliness , safety. But mostly it is for the supportive staff. I had my iPhone stolen when I went out to dinner during my stay. If anyone has a smartphone knows- your whole “ life” is on your phone, The hotel staff especially Elysa Los Arcos Suites Concierge went beyond and above to help me contact all the people I needed to , including banks, and eticket replacements. You are in excellent hands when you stay at Los Arcos Suites. My family and I are so grateful for all the support she gave me.

Los Arcos Suites is perfect for a quiet get away, and has all the tools to suit a longer stay. Kitchenette was functional and well kept. There is no food or drink service on site, and you cannot use the other resorts pools. Otherwise was a great stay.

Hotel from hell
The moment my partner and I entered the room/suite, I knew it was not going to be as advertised. The hotel is 4 stories high and no working elevator while we were there from 20 December to 3 January. My partner is waiting for knee surgery so climbing stairs was not acceptable. The hotel staff offered a room on the first floor after the second day. The elevator has not worked for several weeks before our visit. The floor in the bathroom floods when you have a shower and our bathroom had an added feature of mold and mildew. We had this verified by the hotel manager. The television and Wi-Fi were sporadic. Don't give them your business!

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the all inclusive was a excellent. The property is rather tired with old furniture, which wasn't very comfortable, but was always kept very clean. My biggest disappointment was the Wi-Fi. At times it was like dial-up or didn't work at all. That said we would stay at the property again.

The location is perfecto! Near so many excellent eateries, cafes and nightlife. And just 1 block from the beach! The suite was cleaned sufficiently, friendly staff, easy check-in/checkout. If I HAD to express a con, it would be the rooms need updating for a more modern decor. But it was clean and no bugs or mildewy smell you’d sometimes find in many tropical/beachside properties elsewhere.

Hotel is so rundown my door would barely close and would rub and scrape the framing every time I opened it. If it weren’t for the staff I would stay elsewhere. The staff is awesome.

The location is amazing. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room needs some renovation, the mattress was really firm (too much for us). Other than that, everything was nice. Clean pool, clean room. Breakfast was good.

The hotel was tucked away on a street where there was construction going on the 9 days i was there. They never cleaned my room till the 5th day. I asked on sunday. No one was there so i had to wait till monday making it the 5th. The door to room 3 doesnt work and every other night i had to get a new room key. The buffet was decent. Front staff was rude and couldnt be bothered. Id definitely never go back. Or recommend it.

We really liked the charm of Mexican decor and the outdoor pool. We loved how quiet it was even though there’s a lot of life around the hotel. Also a perk to be able to use the amenities from their sister hotel around the corner. A few things that would have made it better is having a microwave in the room. Also, newer towels. They were very dated and pretty rough. Lastly, the mattress was quite hard for us. Even then, we would stay here again!
