"Hotel Tramonto D’Oro was absolutely amazing. The views were spectacular. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was welcoming and warm. Breakfast was delicious every morning and dinner was also very good. Just a few minutes down the road from Positano and half the price and not nearly as crowded. "Loved Grand Hotel de La Ville. Such beautiful rooms with inlaid wood, marble bathrooms, lovely painted tile floors. Breakfast and staff excellent. We had an end-view partial sea view, which I would skip in the future. Mostly a view of a neighboring apartment building, but everything else is fantastic. 5 minute walk to train station, 10 minute walk to shopping downtown."
