"Of the six hotels I stayed in during my trip, this was by far the best. It was also the least expensive: a great deal for a place this nice. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast buffet was worth the price, and the room was quiet and comfortable. I recommend it highly "

"It started on a low point with the worst check-in we have had in a long time. First it was a bit tricky to find the hotel (no signs to hotel/lobby), when we found it there was an online check-in which we had done many times before. Here, however, we had not received an e-mail with a link for online check-in, and the system did not recognize our name and reservation number. When we found a check-in desk eventually, the person had the same problems and could not check us in on their system and had...

"Hotel is used for a lot of conferences, and bus tours, so is big, and has lots of rooms. Having said that, the facilities are all fine and well maintained, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel was ecellent too. Only minor issue is that its a bit of a walk to the town centre (15-20 mins), but there isn't a lot to see or do there anyway, so no big deal. Parking is easy and straightforward"

"Room requires greater cleanliness - for example there was much dust upon the top of the cupboard and which should be wiped down. The hotel is conveniently situated in Bayreuth but the accompanying map to its location should be more explicit. The breakfast is good."

"A pleasent friendly welcome and service, let down only by one member of staff more interested in hiding with her phone rather than attending to breakfast service. On that day only cold "hot" food ( most dishes missing) no coffee offered, hot water for tea was cold, bread was missing, cereals unfilled. Other days were plentiful and satisfactory."

"Great location for festival. Large room , parking on site, no lift but not an issue for us two floors up. No kettle in room by one given in request. Friendly family run. "
