"My stay was a Thursday - Sunday for a special event in town. I had little contact with staff. They were all nice. There was a creepy middle aged guy chatting on his cell phone in the lobby that I tagged as the owner. At least he looked the part as someone who really didn't care about customer service and pride in running a good motel. The furniture, fixtures and A/C unit are old, worn, ugly and falling apart. "My wife and I (and our dog) stayed at the Arrington Retreat in April 2024. This was our second time at this property. It has a great fenced yard, both front and back that our dog really enjoyed. The kitchen is well stocked and the family room is a comfortable place to gather. We were helping a very ill relative and we needed to extend our stay a couple of times. The property manager was very helpful in extending our stay. This house worked well for our visit."
