what a great place to stay, the staff were wonderful always helpful, friendly, could not ask for better.
To be able to lay back and relax in the sun within a couple of steps from the pool or the beach was sensational,
To be able to sit and have a meal or a cool drink while looking at the beautiful sunsets was so relaxing, we felt like millonaires.

Resort was perfect in every way, our arrival very late 2.30am,staff very most helpful, and made us feel it was of no trouble what ever the time was! Suite was very comfortable, great having ironing board & iron. Pool incredible lots of time spent at Swim-up-bar. All staff need to be congratulated, never an un-smiling face. Olive Restaurant was our favourite, Pittays Suppanarm Executive Sous Chef, was incredible, best duck I have had in a long time. All other Restaurants were very good. Breakfast was perfect, so many choices! and all staff so helpful. All in all a wonderful 10 days and we would recommend JW Marriott Khao Lak to anyone looking for a great holiday.
Great location - you could explore up or down the beach, with plenty access to food / bars, or explore onto the main road, with great spots just outside the hotel (explore northwards for more shopping / food / sights)
Wonderful smiles all round - although the staff's english is not the best, but they make it up with genuine and warm smiles throughout the day
Great pools - plenty access to pools (as the sea was too rocky during monsoon season) with a swim up bar
Comfy rooms and service - comfortable rooms and facilities are in great shape (helps when the hotel is relatively new)
The hotel was wonderful and the staff were lovely. There was only one other couple staying as it was the low season so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The hotel's restaurant "Ingfah" was excellent and even though it was not the cheapest option in the area we went three times during our stay. The room we were in was lovely and kept very clean during our stay. We would also highly recommend a trip to Stella De Silva which is owned by the resort where you can do an array of activities and enjoy massages, all with free transfers. Whilst there were a few minor incidences during our stay they were quickly rectified and I am more than happy to deal with this when the staff were so nice and accomodating. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other couples however it would not be suited so much for families.

We stayed here in April and as well loved it so much, we stayed again in September. We met the new manager who never failed to remember our sons name and say hello. We also had the pleasure of being served breakfast again by Duen and North who every morning had such beautiful smiles on their faces and were so thrilled to see us and even remembered us from back in April which was amazing. We will be definitely back again as we love the beach, pool and hotel so much and you have the nicest staff which is just wonderful for us tourists. Oh an if anyone goes for a stroll on the beach at dusk to night you will see firefly's dancing in the bushes near the rocks. It was truly devine.
