"Perfect location on Lake Charlevoix and walking distance to downtown. Our room was clean and comfortable but definitely outdated. The pictures we saw online when booked were of an upgraded unit, not the one we stayed in. Nevertheless, it did the job and we can handle some outdated wallpaper. We only wish they have chairs on the back patio, the lake view was amazing but we had no chairs. "

"Be sure to make Reservations for the Restaurant! Food is outstanding my husband and I are fussy because we use to be Chefs! The inn is very quiet and it's a couple block to lake Michigan. Staff is very friendly!"

"Everything was wonderful here. Clean, staff was helpful and polite, beds were comfortable and plenty of parking. My issue was the breakfast. When I pay a little extra to stay at the Hampton, I do expect breakfast to be better than what they had. Most of the food, if it wasn't gone, was cold and they ran out of coffee. "
