The Grand Summit Hotel at Canyons Resort

The Grand Summit Hotel is a year-round full service resort featuring amenities and services sure to create unforgettable memories. The hotel is the focal point of the Canyons Resort Village from which all activities and vibrancy emanate. Park City’s historic Main Street is only a scenic 4.2 mile drive from Canyons. The Grand Summit is a true ski in/out property located 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International (SLC) airport. The Grand Summit, a ski-in/ski-out facility, features the Orange Bubble Express, the only lift of its kind in the US, steps from the hotel. Additional offerings include an outdoor pool/hot tub, spa and fitness center, valet parking, and The Farm, Utah’s most exciting new restaurant. Grand Summit features complimentary resort shuttle (winter) supplemented by free, fast, and efficient year-round public transportation to/from Main Street, Tanger Outlet Mall, and other shopping.

All of our Canyons dining facilities fall under the Talisker Restaurant Collection umbrella. Talisker’s renowned cuisine is rooted in what comes from the land, specifically, the Wasatch Mountain corridor. Often described as Rocky Mountain Cuisine, menu offerings include a balance between the refined and the rugged, borrowing from both haute cuisine and foods indigenous to Canyons mountain heritage. Guests will embark on a delightful culinary adventure fulfilling their desires in inviting and wondrously inventive restaurants. The Farm offers both lunch and dinner. Located in the heart of the Resort Village, with a spectacular view of both Ski Beach and the mountain, the Farm features New American cuisine. Red Tail Grill located in the Grand Summit, offers amazing mountain views. Featuring an innovative Southwest menu served in a rustic setting, it is a perfect al fresco dining spot for lunch and dinner. Murdock's café offers a fast and fresh offering for guests looking for a relaxed family dining experience. From coffees and cocoas to salads and grinders. Located in the resort village and open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and apres ski (seasonal). Be sure to visit the exciting and eclectic Talisker on Main located in the heart of historic Main Street and the only certified kosher restaurant in a US ski destination, Bistro at Canyons, located at Silverado Lodge (reopening prior to Hanukkah 2013).

A ski-in/ski-out facility, The Grand Summit is located steps from the Orange Bubble Express, the only lift of its kind in the US. In addition, the hotel is located at the base of the Red Pine Gondola offering a second mode of transport up-mountain. An average of 355 inches of snow blankets Canyons' nine (9) peaks every year. Nineteen (19) lifts provide access to 182 trails on 4,000 acres. Trails are available for all skier levels, particularly intermediate and advanced. Snowboarders and skiers alike enjoy an expansive terrain park, bowls and six (6) natural half pipes. Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley, both within six miles of Canyons, offer an additional188 trails and 5,000 skiable acres. The White Pine Nordic Center, three miles from Canyons, offers cross-country ski trails and guided back country skiing and snowshoeing tours. The public Park City Golf Course is three miles from the hotel. Guests can book fly-fishing excursions, whitewater rafting, dog sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobile tours, sleigh rides, balloon rides, and other outdoor activities through All Seasons Adventures, Canyons outdoor adventure partner, in the Grand Summit lobby.

Canyons Resort Spa offers guests cardio equipment, resistance machines, and free weights, with yoga classes for a surcharge. Steam, sauna, and hot tubs are also available. A lagoon-style heated outdoor pool is open year-round.
