"Blown away, it was really beautiful and everything we needed was there. The whirlpool bath was a lovely surprise and the beds were super comfy. we had a brilliant time - way better than the caravan we were considering! near cornwall services, 5 mins away, with a coop, taco bell, greggs, mcdonalds and amazing pizza place - we went here most nights! Michael the host gave us plenty of info and made sure we were happy. I highly recommend and having 2 bathrooms was also pretty good for a family!"

"The property was perfect for two families to enjoy a New Year break in Cornwall. "The lodge was clean, comfortable and had everything the two of us and our two dogs needed for a long weekend. It was quiet and had lovely views over the countryside. It’s only a short walk into the village where there are a choice of eating places (but choose wisely-we chose the farmers arms based on their website and it was the most disappointing meal/experience ever). A great room to hang about and chat whilst someone is cooking Particularly appreciated The Aga on chilly autumn days. Also the induction cooker was what we were used to at home. The sitting room appears to have been recently redone with new furniture and decor, Upstairs just fine.,bathrooms warm and airy. Could have done with another week"

Bed was comfortable, shower was a very good size and with both a rain head and a detachable wand. Only detractor was a water pump which could be heard any time water was used from a number of rooms but this did not stop a good nights sleep. "

The Famers Arms St Merryn
"We had a great 3 day stay at the Farmers Arms. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there were tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished every day. St Merryn is a beautiful village with Harlyn and Constantine being some of the best beaches in the country in my opinion. We will definitely be heading back soon."
