"This property had its day but long passed now. The spa area is very dirty. Unscrubbed tiles, unkempt grounds & outdoor common areas. The thermal pools were lukewarm, dirty, & jets not fully functioning. The lobby area and dining room are nice but staff is rude and haughty with the impression they are still in the grandiose days of yore."

"Main downside was no tea/coffee in the room - everything has to be paid for separately eg at the bar. Good breakfast was included for us. Bikes can be used for free which was nice. Air con not great, more like a fan, but we opened a window and in late May this was fine. Pleasant staff other than one officioius type in the restaurant."

"The room was clean and the staff were great. The only issue was the bathroom, which had a smell so terrible that we could barely use it. It was difficult to take a shower with the sewer smell coming from the pipes. It did help eventually when we ran some water, but it was the stinkiest room I've ever stayed in. The rest was great. The location is easy to get to from the train station and the front desk is open all the time. The staff were very helpful and they seem to be adding features to the...
