Stayed at CBI while attending a wedding in Old Lyme and Saybrook. Very nice and private with good access to the coast. Outlying buildings appear updated. Grounds are pleasant and serene. Breakfast was tasty, ample and well prepared and presented. Staff was responsive yet unobtrusive.

What a Darling Place to stay! Staff was very helpful and Friendly and the room was Comfortable and Clean and Quiet! Everything you need is there. Restaurant and Complimentary Breakfast and even some music at night in the bar area! Nicely furnished and Quaint! I Loved it there and the Little shops around the town are so cute. Close to the marina and nearby to other charming villages.
The owners, Jim and Mary, and their assistant, Kelly, were gracious and caring hosts. The food was great each morning, and most of all, the room was spotlessly clean. That is something I really appreciate most. I would recommend it to anyone. It is a lovely, large home, tastefully decorated and restored. We felt very comfortable there and will go back again next year. Thank you Jim and Mary.

This was a GREAT find. I booked a last minute trip for Memorial Day weekend, and it worked out great. We booked a non-smoking room with a king size bed. It was super comfy. There were some great places within five minutes (driving distance) to eat and drink. The front desk showed us where to go. We went kayaking (five minutes away) and enjoyed the beach and went to Mohegan Sun for some fun at night. We will be back!
This was our second time staying at a B&B and will continue to use them if possible. The facility was outstanding, as well as the comraderie of our fellow travelers. The mattress was more comfortable than our own bed. Cleanliness was exceptional throughout the entire Inn. Breakfast was pleasing to eye, as well as the stomach. We really enjoyed the Rosemary Chardonnay muffins and the potatoes that accompanied our quiche. Brought the recipe home for the potatoes and will make them again. During the afternoon wine and cheese get-together, Victoria offered us suggestions for various restaurants in the area after finding out what we were looking for. We ate dinner at Lenny and Joe's Fish Tale and had ice cream for dessert at Ashley's. Make sure you stop there for home-made ice cream.

Loved the coffee nook on the second floor. Felt so home like to get up and grab coffee and climb back into bed. We loved how the Seahorse was decorated. The owner, Mike is very personable and spent time with us after making a delicious breakfast. He talked to us a little about the history of the building and how he came about running this great little b n b. We even got to meet his two rescue labs...I think their names were Cash n Walker. A great, cozy, home away from home.
