Great location for city centre access but didn’t feel like we were surrounded by a ‘concrete jungle’ like many other city centre hotels. There was an amazing view from our room and the window in reception and also a lovely grass courtyard to the back of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean, beds comfy and the bathrooms/ shower were great!

Lovely hotel in a nice & quieter area of Nottingham city centre. Short walk into town & parking available-although this is at an additional charge.

My favourite retreat while in Nottingham. Very well presented, quiet, clean and next to city centre. Only downside is the pricey parking, on site or on the road.

A nice stay in general, but had an issue with the hot water having black bits of something in it, when I ran a bath, meaning it was unusable. Mostly disappoined with the response when I reported it, which was simply that it would be looked I to after my stay. Nice hotel but less than stella service.

We always stay here. A quiet oasis . Staff always helpful, friendly, efficient. Rooms comfortable. Restaurant excellent . Nice ambience - sometimes can be ruined by noisy diners but last night it was full by 7 pm and everyone enjoying food and excellent service and celebrating Christmas .

Excellent night away.
Everything was excellent about the room and hotel, apart from two minor issues that may be considered personal taste. Cost of cooked breakfast £17 made us check out early and eat in the city centre. No coffee apart from decaffeinated. Other than that...it was excellent and we will be back.

This is a small, friendly, boutique type hotel in the best area of Nottingham just walking distance from the centre. All my interactions with the staff from check-in to the restaurant were excellent. Please pass on my thanks to the staff.

Lovely, memorable stay in a great area of Notts
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hart's Hotel. It is situated in a very quiet and attractive part of Nottingham minutes from the centre. The room was very nice. Small and compact but the bed and linen was excellent with good provision of tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was delicious - we had the continental breakfast as we were going out for a big lunch. It was lovely and good value at £12 per head. Staff were all very pleasant and attentive.

Not the best experience
Check in was a trying experience! Not enough staff on duty, the one person on reception seemed unsure of the process and not very confident meaning a growing que to check in. The hotel car park is small for the number of rooms resulting in people being charged the parking fee to park in the car park across the road which was not owned by the hotel and part of a building site. Check out was even more painful taking 15 minutes as receptionists couldn’t find paperwork so accused me of trying to check out twice 🤔! Room was ok, clean but tired.

Wonderful stay
Stayed the night after dropping daughter at Uni. From start to finish the staff we're friendly & helpful. Lovely boutique hotel with parking. The room was lovely. Views from our room were wonderful. Will be our 'go to hotel' for the next 3 years when visiting our daughter.

Hotel was nice and we had a nice view of the garden and city. Restaurant was cosy but not a great experience, we got seated and then just left! Had to ask for a drinks menu, then didn’t get the food menu for around 20 minutes. They forgot to bring them bread until our food arrived and I sent back my starter as the only way I can describe it was the prawns smelt of rotten fish. I was still charged for these which I wouldn’t have expected to be in a good establishment. The main course was divine as were the desserts. Room was tiny and no air conditioning but had everything else you would need. Breakfast very poor if having continental.

This was our first stay at this property and we had a very pleasant two night stay. Staff were lovely and helpful, we were in Nottingham for our daughters graduation so busy with that, so probably didn’t make full use of the hotel but we used the bar, outside seating area and had breakfast on our second morning, not sure we’d have a reason to visit again as our daughter has now left Uni, but would recommend to others.
