"Property is getting a bit long in the tooth and needs attention to minor maintenance details which are very important to overall impression. Leaky tap washers, and tired interior fittings detract. Restaurant and most facilities are excellent. Overall position and general ambience good."

"The steak I had in the Restaurant was excellent, tasty, tender and cooked just as Irequested. My wife had fish which she enjoyed. The pillows on the bed were a little too large for comfort and caused a mild neck pain."

"I was a bit disappointed that the photo of the view on the site wasn’t actually the site from the rooms, but from the hotel in front of it. But the staff there were very helpful and extremely pleasant. "

"It was an ideal location for our visit to Evandale, close to everything we wanted to do and very well presented. The cottage is nicely renovated, it was warm (a must in a Tassie autumn) and quiet. We didn’t have a lot to do with the owners but found the lady very friendly when we did. Definitely recommended."

"We arrived late but kept the restaurant open for us. The food was amazing and couldn't finish dessert so the staff member suggested taking us back to our room. The room was large, clean and very comfortable with with all we could wish for. Staff were exceptional with the woman who checked us in changing us to a more convenient one when she saw we were elderly. We would highly recommend this place.to our family and friends. ."
