It’s close to good restaurants and a decent shopping area. The only issue you may run into, is the drive home if you’re working in Science Park. You have to leave by 5, if you don’t want to spend 40 mins taking a 11 min trip. "

"I believe I might have been the first person to stay via hotels.com. The room I stayed in was smoking (though I specified non-smoking and that might be more important to some) and they tried to charge me for extra for the room because it showed up as a double room (but I was alone) when I arrived. However, it all worked out. It is conveniently located in Hsinchu and the staff were helpful."
