“Great service/staff/breakfast/nice clean room. =)”

Booked thruExpedia; stayed Thurs-Sun. Greeted w/smiles &accomodations confirmed. Requested high floor w/ocean front/view which we DID receive. 2DB room not huge, but more than adequate for 2adults/1teen. Hot water @all times,a/c working very well; approx. 32"flat new tv. Inside pool across the street, w/baths/changing rooms, plenty towels.Not huge, but 5ft.-10/12ft very clean. Our visit was mid-April;didn't get 2use outside pool, but seemed clean/inviting. On site rental chairs/umbrellas/bikes/surreys-fair rates. Breakfast was amazing, more than we could want w/eggs/sausage links, plenty of breads/yogurts/cereals/coffee/juices,etc. Held in Chix Rest./short walk thru hallway connection.A lovely attendee kept area clean&dishes full(approx.8-10am). I must commend Karen, the very kind housekeeping staff attendee/6th floor. Most friendly &although we did not require a room cleaning/bed change,we did request additional towels &coffee. On Sunday(final day),we requested late ck-out time &that was not a problem. Marisol &Eddie @the front desk were wonderful, as was Karen.We were allowed to ck-out @12:30, which was perfect. Gave us 2more hrs of beach time! Lovely people/clean accomodations/not a huge room, but more than adequate.Larger balcony would be nice, but we didn't spend much time in the room-choosing to walk/shop/spend time on the beach. Lastly, a huge carafe machine in the front lobby w/both reg&decaf MH all hours. Love that!!

“Outstanding Accomidations”

Thhis was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at on the beach!!! Loved it Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!! We will surely stay here again! Walking distance to everything! The breakfast they provided every morning was a blessing not your ordinary continental either with stale danish but a full hot breakfast, we really enjoyed that. The staff was wonderful catered to your every need and maid service was excellant, we absolutely have NO complaints other than we wished we could have stayed longer! Great Job!

We were able to check in early and spend most of the day on the beach. Was clean and comfortable. Was suprised that the deluxe continental breakfast actually included some hot foods and a view of the beach from the restaurant. Had a great stay! We would stay here again.

The pictures online did not do justice to the hotel... it was very nice and clean and did not have the flower pattern on the bed ( like it did in pix) right near the beach and the view is not bad either

“Spending a week at the beach in Virgin Beach”

We had a great view of the ocean. Every day the hotel at 3 PM had snacks by the pool. Having Sundays on Sunday was a big hit! Everything you could need was within walking distance such as restaurants and a convenience store. Parking is across the street in a garage on the first level only. We never had a problem finding a parking spot. Unloading and loading your luggage can be tricky with two small drives in the front of the hotel if they are busy. Our next stay we will be requesting a bottom floor room which gives us direct access to the in-ground pool. Walking out of the hotel you enter the pool area and just past that direct access to the boardwalk. I like that the hotel offers bike rental on their property. Unfortunately we did not use that service but plan to the next time. The hotel had a good free breakfast each morning in the restaurant next door. We had a wonderful view the boardwalk and beach. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, beagles, cereals and fruit. There was enough to fill you up to start your day at the beach. We plan on returning and I would recommend this hotel. It may not be the newest or fanciest, but for the price and location I say it was worth it.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I liked the breakfast, especially the coffee. It was very affordable being before the summer season and the ocean water c-o-l-d.

“Basic hotel suited for families”

The housekeeping staff deserves credit for maintaining a neat, clean environment despite the carelessness of a few guests. I saw several cups of sand that had made its way onto the fourth floor hallway, and half a cooler of ice that had been dropped on another hallway. Both messes had been cleaned up when we walked back through. The area around the pool was kept tidy. Bikes are available for rent next to the pool.

“Good basic standard hotel with pool”

Not particularly impressed with the included breakfast but the evening dinner menu and quality was very good.
