Merci à elle de nous avoir permis de rester plus longtemps dans la maison suite à un problème de voiture. Il n'y a pas encore le Wifi mais cela ne devrait tarder :-)"

"We were amazed to be able to book for Easter weekend at short notice. We are very pleased we did! The flat is lovely with views over the town to the sea. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked fine. The bedroom is very small but that's fine for a short stay, at least. We were welcomed warmly. There was 13 of us and just had enough room to all eat together, but it was a squeeze. Also the oven and fridge are small for large group. "The suite is very comfortable. Front & back entrances make for good access to your car and of course to the beach. One negative aspect was the need to rent bed linens & towels for a hefty fee which we were informed of only after the deadline to be able to cancel. Also there is an expensive housekeeping fee imposed unless you do the cleaning yourself."

Parfaitement situé, à proximité immédiate de la Plage du Midi, à quelques minutes des commerces de Barbâtre et à quelques tours de roues (vélo ou voiture) de tous les beaux sites de l'île de Noirmoutier. L'accueil (conciergerie) a été parfait et les propriétaires sont très chaleureux. Nous reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir."

"Everything was perfect at La Chaize. This was our third time and the reception still took time to explain about access, breakfast and all that we needed to know to get the best from the hotel. The Gentleman on reception took us to our room, which was at the rear of the main hotel building. He explained the features of the room such as the jacuzzi, electric velux window, etc. The room (41) was immaculate and well decorated. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast is charged extra, but is well worth paying for because there is an excellent choice of quality items to choose. Finally, all the staff are friendly and helpful, in particular reception who give advice on where to go and where to eat."

"Had a lovely stay at the property but there were a few annoying points. Leading up to the stay I tried to contact them via Expedia and email to request ground floor access but got no response! Parking spaces are very tight, even with a reasonably small car, very difficult getting in and out, almost impossible with a baby. The property was generally very clean but there were some stains on walls and ceilings etc. and could have done with a refresh. Kitchen was well equipped but as with other reviews make sure you have your own cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper and spare toilet rolls. There are plenty of places to shop nearby for these. Swimming pool was pleasant, sometimes a bit chilly in September (about 25 degrees Celsius) but can imagine is very refreshing on a hot day. They supply baby equipment for free but bedrooms were small leaving almost no room for a cot, we had to move the bed up against the wall to fit a cot in our room. The baby bath also looked like it had taken a trip to the beach and not been cleaned! Overall it was a good value stay and we had a lovely time, just don’t expect perfection. "
