We wanted a place with AC as we are a bit spoiled as americans when it comes to AC, and found this place near Ely on a fishing lake. It was an exceptional find, to say the least. Close to Ely, the shops and cathedral, and not a far drive to many other places, including Cambridge. The hot-tub was nice, setting beautiful, and hosts were excellent too. "We loved the situation next to the golf course. It was extremely quiet and tranquil. The lodge had everything you could need and the underfloor heating was amazing. The Alexa was an added bonus which we wouldn't have expected. It was also great to have a dishwasher and coffee maker with tablets and tea/coffee provided. Altogether a really great experience."

"Good base for the week. Did have a couple of times people trying to get in as they thought it was part of the raptor foundation so had to have the door locked all the time. Walls are very thin so could hear the people next door snoring all night. There is a sign up in the bath room saying after 5days you get fresh linen and towels but this didnt happen, i stayed for 7nights. It would of been nice for the bin to of been emptied in that time as its a tiny bin. Room was nice and big, same with the...
