Everything we planned to do for the most part was within a 10 minute walk. Broadway theaters, Times square, Pier 83 for the boat tour around Manhattan island, 50th ave. subway station which is a straight shot on "C" train to Central Park. Advice: If you are flying in and renting a car, rent it one way, there are two Hertz locations 55th st and 34th st. Otherwise you will be paying at least $55 dollars per day at a parking garage. When you leave, just rent a car one way back to the airport. Trust me, you do not want to drive in NYC traffic.

Terribly noisy. Queen beds had full bed mattress covers just set on the mattress and a full bed bottom sheet. Not comfortable for sleeping when the mattress keeps coming uncovered. If you dont want the room cleaned they make it assertively clear they are entering anyway to inspect. Staff were polite but we wont stay here again.

Perfect place to stay for a theater trip. Right by all the theaters and great pre-show dining options. Bathroom could use a bit of updating and the electrical outlets stopped working the night before we left (didn't discover until next morning as we were leaving that our phones weren't charged). Still, we will definitely stay there again. The staff, cleanliness, and location, along with the wine bar downstairs, makes it the best in the Theater District!

We liked being very near Broadway shows. But we were disappointed that we reported standing water in the shower after the first night of our two night stay on May 21 and 22 because we were told it would be fixed, but the same standing water was still there on the second night, so the shower was unusable the whole time we were there. I have stayed at The Pearl several times over the years and expected better. The front desk staff were great, they may've thought the situation was taken care of, but the worker to repair the shower either never showed up, or the work didn't solve the problem.

For my first experience in New York, this was the best place we could have stayed. It is so convenient to all of the areas that we wanted to see. The staff was excellent, the room was clean, and more importantly it was really quiet. We were up on the sixth floor so I can’t speak to how loud other floors would be, but I was shocked at how quiet the room was. You couldn’t hear any of the city noise except for sometimes sirens. I would absolutely stay at this property again, and I will recommend it to anyone that I know going to New York.
