We had a room without a window… like it led to a sketchy interior space filled with dirty rags and ladders. Glad we didn’t have an emergency. Room was noisy.

The ground floor was being refurbished and there was no bar or drinks facility. Not even tea except early mornings. Room was small with no space for luggage etc.

The location is amazing and very walkable to all areas in NY. The check in was good. Unfortunately at our stay there was a MAJOR incident and the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, in the same floor we stayed. Because of this the emergency light start flashing in our room and even after they turned off the fire alarm, the light kept blinking. They did change us to a different room at the 10th floor after they sent someone and realized there was a malfunction with the emergency light. There was no apology or any acknowledgment of the issue when we checked out. NOTHING.

Clean, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. Staff were always helpful and polite. Will definitely use this hotel for our next visit.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. While the area is very busy and can be loud, the room itself was quite quiet, and we weren't disturbed by noise from neighboring rooms. The hotel is really near major bus and train lines. We'll stay again!

Our stay was not bad it’s a great price to be in the city and be walking distance from everything. It’s a small boutique style hotel so if you are used to commercial hotels it’s is not that. Housekeeping does a great job at cleaning the rooms when you’re out and will come back if you need more time. Only downside was that the bathroom drains were slow so water pools up and takes a while to go down and there was no net for the windows to ventilate the bathroom incase it gets too humid. The bed creaks a bit on the hard wood so that’s something to be mindful of if you are easily bothered. The staff were nice and helpful. No there is not breakfast but they do have tea options and the restaurant is still under construction.
