This hotel is a bit chaotic (so many people in a small lobby area) and for the price, the breakfast was terrible. We picked a nicer hotel in Brooklyn and didn't expect the breakfast to be like something at a budget hotel. Very disappointing. And I was always having to ask for black tea bags - it was like they were hiding them in the kitchen. The room was tight, as per NYC, but one of the beds was so close the the bathroom slide-door it was a bit awkward. Beds were comfortable, shower was nice. Room was quite stuffy and the fan was super loud so you don't want to sleep with it on. Long waits for the elevators. It was only ok for over 400$ a night. We paid same as Times Square rates and didn't get near the perks. Not sure why we're paying resort fees. Also, the parking is an independent place, not affiliated with the hotel. That said, it is way more expensive than the other places nearby so I suggest checking SpotHero for parking rates.

Downtown Brooklyn has a great vibe with fantastic bars, restaurants and shopping. Hampton Inn is perfectly located to be part of that vibe. Staff are genuinely helpful.

Great stay. Good sized room . Breakfast was ok and having free coffee always available was a nice touch. Location good… short walk to a number of subway stations and DUMBO/ Brooklyn Bridge. Fab little street food hall at Dekalb market a few minutes walk away . Great variety of food and open late . Easy to get into Manhattan . Would definitely recommend .

Staff were all so helpful and friendly. Great to have coffee all day and bfast until noon. Noon check-out also so nice! Easy walk to the pedestrian entrance of the Brooklyn Bridge. Parking garage right next door. Rooms could use some updating, but great value for the location.

We had such a great time at this property! Free breakfast. Quiet on a high floor. On premise bar. Clean and comfortable room. Great staff. Highly walkable - we love to walk! Highly recommend the MOCHI ICE CREAM at the front desk market. I’m still craving it a week later!

Ideally situated in Downtown Brooklyn, a short walk to either the Brooklyn or Manhattan Bridges. Also a short walk to nearest subway stations, making access to Manhattan a breeze! As for the room, bed was comfy, bathroom was spacious and the TV worked! Main issue... room was warm, and A/C unit did not cool it down at bedtime (and, of course, we couldn't open the windows to let some cool, fresh air in); minor issue... the lighting in the room was inadequate, with lights only at bedside and at the desk - nothing overhead... again, minor.

This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. I say again, it's the best hotel I've been to in Brooklyn. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. My room safe failed to open, and I called the front desk. They had someone at my room in less than 5min. The gentleman even followed to make sure everything was well. This is my go to hotel when I visit Brooklyn.

Property was alright - nothing bad but also nothing great. Location was convenient for exploring the area and taking the subway into manhattan. Due to its central location - lots of noise and sirens all day and all night. The breakfast was average at best.

The staff was very friendly and informative. The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation and a parking garage. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Brooklyn.

I love how clean the hotel is and the staff were friendly. Only thing i didn't like is my frenz gotta pay for parking every time we drive out and come bk. Waste of money better we had take uber. And the breakdown was limited. I never catch it. It was always done serving

The hotel is on a busy corner, the room was not spacious, and the breakfast was not gourmet. But the staff was wonderful and the value was outstanding.

This hotel is generally ok for its price. Tproblem is it has very few choices for dinning nearby. However, I found the food in their bar is pretty good.
