The location of Club Quarters is its most favorable asset. Walking distance from the World Trade Center, Battery Park and all the eating/coffee options are definitely a positive. Unfortunately, the hotel oversold it's room capacity and instead of receiving the Superior double room with two double beds, we were put in a small room with one bed. The alternative was a King size bed and sleeper sofa. It turned out that the King size bed was actually two single beds pushed together and it wasn't comfortable. The sofa bed barely had room to open out all the way and we had to move a table to make it work. As we feared, the sofa bed was hard with a thin mattress and unpleasant blanket. The sharp edges at the foot of the bed made it impossible to sleep in a straight position. Considering that this hotel is rated 4 stars and cost $1000 for a two night stay- it was a disappointment.

i have stayed here many times when I visit family. The room was the most depressing room I have ever stayed in. It was in its own little hallway behind the elevator shaft. There was a tiny window in the corner and when you pulled the curtains, it showed two large heating vents. The room was fine-clean but awfully sad
