I loved staying here, brilliant area to stay in if you are going to choose Brooklyn, close to the subway but also walking distance to great cafes and quiet streets if you are looking to explore close to the hotel. (Which some mornings is a very nice thing to do). One of the things that stand out about the hotel is how incredibly clean your room is, these are not rooms that are easy to keep clean, but the housekeeping staff do a brilliant job of it, so you feel at home very quickly. The hotel lobby and bar is continuously busy and buzzy, but that adds to the lovely environment and vibe of the hotel and it's welcoming, relaxed vibe. I stayed on the 8th floor and there is absolutely no noise once you are in your room, none at all, it's so peaceful, I loved that. Overall, a wonderful stay and I really wish I had booked a longer stay.

Great location for Brooklyn Academy of Music. comfortable bed; cool, eddy furnishings including a guitar, vinyl player and green leather couch; Smeg mini fridge. A couple minor things - water pressure in shower somewhat weak and took a while for hot water to come through. drain in sink was pretty slow; and like others said no coffee in room, but there's a coffee/tea maker. Great neighborhood near a lot of fabulous restaurants and eateries.

First time in Brooklyn and the Ace was a perfect choice. Nice room; coffee and pastry at the Bakery; dinner at As You Are; cocktails in the Lobby. Excellent stay overall.

There was a DJ in the lobby on Saturday night which would have been fine but we had kids and went to bed at like 10 pm. The pounding from the music reached us on the 6th floor! This is not ok when you have little kids. Also, I wished the bakery had more baked items to choose from. Otherwise I loved the hotel. Very much needed in Brooklyn.

This property is pretty nice, the staff were absolutely fantastic. They really did a bang up job helping us with directions!! The bar staff was amazing, super friendly and fun. My only negatives would be they deactivated the wooden room keys and didn’t send out any type of notice. So, when we returned to the room late after a Yankees game, we had to go back to the front desk for new keys.
