The pool is amazing! The kids loved the slides, and the bar there has lovely bartenders who are very hospitable. There is a cool ocean view on all sides and a shuffleboard court that leads to the ocean and lots of conch shells adorn the deck to view the glorious ocean, sunrise, and sunsets! Thank you for the beautiful service!!

We stayed in the house boats, which I recommend doing. However, the houseboats face the water and the windows are completely see-through. We had no privacy with sailors and people constantly passing by. A little awkward to have to hide in your own "hotel room" to get dressed. Aside from lack of privacy, the resort is beautiful. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating, with the exception of the water taxi driver. He ["Chacho"] comes and goes on his own schedule and unless you tell him you need to be somewhere at a certain time and get verbal confirmation, I wouldn't rely on the water taxi schedule provided by the resort. Unfortunately, his taxi is one of the few ways to get off the island, so bear that in mind. We noticed that communicating with the staff made our stay very easy, they were very accommodating when they knew our itinerary. Beautiful resort and a beautiful island we will definitely return to. Our vacation approach will be different when we return now that we know to give ourselves ample time for transportation.

My son and I just spent five days at Sandport Beach resort while it’s on a quiet side of the island of Nassau. It’s still within walking distance to many restaurants cafés and offers several pools to private beaches as well as within walking distance to the public beach. My only negative portion is that there was a lot of trash around the property as well as by the pool. The trashcan was overflowing most days. The ice machine did not work at all, and the excursion to Clifton Heritage national Park was nice, but we were not told that you were to bring swimming clothes, because half of it included snorkeling, and the beach And that was a huge disappointment as it cost $198 for two people. My son ended up going in the ocean in his clothes but that was really a huge miscommunication. We were only told to wear sneakers because it was a walking tour. We were never told anything about ocean time or snorkeling . Other than that it’s a nice resort just needs to have trash picked up around the resort and empty trash cans at pool areas. We ate breakfast once at the Starfish Restaurant it was extremely overpriced for the little amount of food given and slow service.

It saddens me not to be able to leave a more favorable review given the staff was friendly and very helpful. However, our suite was in disrepair and dirty. When we arrived, there was dirty dishes and left over food from the last guests in the refrigerator. The resort gave us a $50 credit. Had this been the only issue no problem, but the bathroom and kitchen fixtures were corroded and broken. There was a huge crack in the floor of the shower, which led to water damage and a spongy floor. A broken cabinet in the kitchen and water damage underneath the kitchen sink. To top it off, we found a cockroach in the kitchen halfway through the week. The entire unit is in need of renovation. That said, we loved the location and the access to the quiet beach on the lagoon. Had the suite been in better shape we would absolutely return.
