This hotel is tired and needs a bit of sprucing up. I appreciate the ability to get a suite, but it wasn't very comfortable. The room we were in was dark, with not a lot of lights to brighten it up. The furniture in the kitchenette made it unusable - with mismatched table & chairs. How were we supposed to sit at a cocktail round table with regular height chairs? When I complained they said that they were in the midst of getting new furniture and that they had only some of the new pieces. I would have appreciated an explanation of that before paying for a suite.
Additionally I booked a double queen suite, and ended up in a king suite, which meant someone had to sleep on the pull out sofa bed. I had been trying to avoid that. At least they comped my parking for that inconvenience.
I had hoped that during our 3 night stay we might be able to relax together in the living room area, and that became hard to do with the pull out sofa opened up into a bed and a table/chairs we could not sit at together.
