I wish you would have communicated the washing machine issue during your stay when I reached out to check on you, as this would have given me the opportunity to address it and instruct you on how to fix it. With all upright machines, there is a specific “steam clean machine” cycle. I’ve informed my housekeeper to run that cycle, prior to next guest checkin. Thanks for taking great care of the property. Hi James, thanks so much for your feedback. So sorry you and your brother’s stay was made less comfortable or interrupted by the checkout time. I wish you had communicated your desire to checkout late, arrangements could have been made. As a five star super host, I try to ensure that all the details regarding the property are outlined in the property descriptions so that you can make the best decision if my home is a good fit for you prior to booking. In reference to the cameras on the exterior of the property, it sounds like some of those major details may have been missed prior to you booking, because this is listed in the details for all of my locations and on all the booking platforms that I use. I assure you, they are for security purposes only. Lastly, I wish you would have taken advantage of the beautiful lake Sam Rayburn just a few minutes away from the house, as this is what I advertise in my listing and guest guide that is located inside the home, not the creek that runs through the property. Lake Sam Rayburn is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in Texas. Hopefully, if you’re in the area again, you and brother can visit it and see the amazing sunsets and maybe even enjoy some boating and great fishing.
