"Returned from full day of sightseeing, FOB didn’t work (10:30 PM). No one answered call via call button. Thankfully, fellow guest let me in. WiFi is complete rubbish in common areas. Groceries were discarded prior to my departure (staff gave me complimentary salad-yum!). No electrical outlets/USB by beds. And, yes beds are RIGHT next to each other-bit weird. Pros? "We were welcomed warmly by staff and walked to our room with information and explanations along the way. Room was large, nice and bed was comfortable. Easy walk to our cruise boat dock. Easy walk to tram and bus stop. Staff was helpful with directions. Coffee available for purchase in the morning if not purchasing breakfast buffet. Wonderful stay in Basel. "
