"It’s always hard to tell from photos but this place far exceeded my hopes. The property is large, sunny, well designed and landscaped. There are old buildings that blend seamlessly with the new. The breakfast area and pool are modern, airy and relaxing. We had a bungalow which had a spacious living/dining area with a kitchen. The bathroom was large, with a walk-in shower and bidet. "Beautiful 1 bedroom suite with all the amenities anyone could want. The space was modernly decorated and had a very home like feel after a day of hiking. We were welcomed with many chocolates and foods of the islands to sample. The manager was very attentive to any questions we had. "This house is exactly as it shows in the pictures. It was in a quiet area and within minutes of driving, you are in Ponta Delgada. The host Joao was quick to answer any questions that we had.
