"The first receptionist I encountered during check in could speak very good English and communicate with me well. Then on the next day, there were any receptionists speaking English, wrong direction was given to me when I asked for going to a seafood place. But they were nice. "We booked partially viewed room but somewhat we stayed a room with a view, overlooking the castle park. We stayed a different hotel in Takamatsu earlier of the trip and we felt that we should have stayed here instead. The service are excellent as all staff are trained well. The Superb breakfast! "The property was very unique and really made us feel like we were in an authentic Japanese home. The view was absolutely stunning! The only concern was the there was construction in the house next to us and the bathtub area didn’t have a proper roof and the construction workers could see into the space, so we couldn’t really use the tub. One recommendation would be to have a double or queen bed available instead of just twin beds. "

"Very cute hostel. The inside had great design and amenities, like extension cords, card games and hairdryers. Checkin was no-contact on a tablet. It had a little trouble finding my name but I guess it wanted my full name (first and last) typed in to find it. We stayed in a western style room with bunk beds.
