"This is a clean, quiet, orderly, comfortable hotel which is modern and well-appointed, but has traditional features such as the public bath on the second floor and a comprehensive Japanese breakfast menu. The staff are exceptionally helpful and infinitely polite and friendly. It is also very convenient for Kyoto Station and for bus routes."

"Excellent location - short walk to Kyoto station, 2 large shopping malls and a laundrette just around the corner. Reasonable cooking facilities but not enough room for 2 people to pass in this galley (to reach the hand basin and shower). In reality that was not much of a problem. Good WiFi. We would certainly stay here again."

"This was a really nice little boutique hotel, and the washer/dryer, was a very nice added touch, even if it was a little rough on the clothes. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that potential guests should know is that, in our room at least, there were no blackout drapes, which meant that it got light fairly early in the morning in late May. (The window coverings that were there did provide good privacy.)"

"Great room. Super nice owners. Very clean and reasonable rate. If you sleep "warm," ask for a blanket because the comforters can make you sweat. Also, the location is very close to the Kyoto Station, but not too close. We look forward to staying there again."

"Our experience here at Coto Toji was amazing, from the beginning a driver was waiting us at Kyoto station and he was the one that did the check in at the property. His name is Kibune, an old short funny Japanese guy who made pleasant our first hour in Kyoto. Everything was awesome regarding this property, we enjoyed our futons and the “crazy” equipped bathroom . It is very close to Toji station subway and the bus # 207, which is the most convenient one, it takes you to the most important sites...

"行前有點擔心、怕自己誤會地點、怕進不了門之類的，聯絡窗口人員非常細心、耐心回覆、解釋。地點離京都車站步行可抵達，但要看從哪個出入口算⋯畢竟車站頗大⋯ 一整棟出租方式，非常非常適合家庭、朋友旅遊，感覺很棒。 廚房雖小五臟俱全，我們去超商購買了一些加熱食物、新鮮食物、使用廚房加熱/烹煮，吃了兩頓十分豐富的大餐。 雖然住宿的附近，步行可到的，可能只有車站內開到晚間9點的店家、開到12點的唐吉軻德可以逛，但仍是很不錯的住宿經驗！"

"入夜後除了車流聲外其實挺安靜，房間與浴室空間舒適，不會太小，傢俱狀況很好，還有附洗衣機和洗衣精，且有提供曬衣設備，也有小廚房和廚具可以使用，另外還有免費腳踏車能借用，非常方便。 可惜房間在2樓，搬拖大件行李有點難。在預定飯店的網頁上說有打掃服務，實際入住的期間並沒有清潔人員來，還有房間的墊被、被套、枕套要自行裝好！。"
