“5 Star Hotel at 3 Star Price”

Do not think this is a cheap hotel because you can get it at a great price at Expedia. This is a 5-star Hotel (as it says when you arrive). I am a regular at worldwide Marriotts and this did not disappoint me one bit. The rooms are spacious & beautiful. The entire hotel even has contemporary deco. It feels new and well-maintained. The hotel staff are very professional and helpful - everybody from receptionists, private guards (like a porter / concierge), to the restaurant waiters. Like everywhere else in Medellin, it helps if you speak some Spanish. The hotel is very safe, if some dodgy people try to enter, you'll find police arriving in no time. (I saw that). Equally if a single man wants to bring a lady for overnight stay, the lady has to register at the reception and has to present her ID (which she should carry with her at all times). Again, the receptionists are very professional about this and of course they do this on a daily basis so nothing to be bothered about. This hotel is in prime location in El Poblado. 5 minutes on a taxi to Parque Lleras. Literally a walk around the corner to Oviedo Mall, and Santa Fe Mall. For such a great hotel, its funny that many taxi drivers don't recognise the name. Maybe because there are other "Estelar" hotels around, and many many other hotels generally... But easy way round is to tell the driver that it is near Centro Comercial Oviedo, or right next to (el lado de) Gran Casino Medellin. I would stay at this hotel again, for sure!

The hotel is modern and new, very clean with freindly and imidiate help when needed. Alot of the staff new english well. I have stayed at other surrrounding hotels and this if by far the best, and its why I have stayed here 5 times.

The hotel staff is very polite and friendly, some of whom spoke English. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice; the nicest area of Medellin. Zona Rosa and Parque Lleras is only a 20 minute walk away; you will find lots of restaurants and nightclubs there.

Clean, Semi-luxury, Great Service, Great breakfast buffet, has a gym and sauna, safe neighborhood, close to Santa Fe mall, close to Parque Lleras restaurants and bars.

Great Hotel, Clean and Modern, in the center of the financial center, malls, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
