"Quaint little cottage, so close to everything. Transport is fantastic. Would have stayed longer here, you have everything you need and more. Very comfortable and the host Sue is very resposive and so lovely. Would recommend this place to anyone. Beach is just down road, airpot is 9kms away and no going through city to get to it. Beach front all the way. Thanks again we loved it. X"

"4 days in Isobel's cottage. My wife and I plus our fur child. Located right beside the walking and biking tracks which we came for. Snowed Sat nigh so we had some frosty mornings but beautiful clear days with that bright Autumn sun shining through the trees showing up the golds and browns of the leaves. Lovely warm and cosey cottage to come back to each day."

"Everything you could need for a long or short stay. Great veranda to enjoy the morning coffee from (or any time of day). If your tall, you need to watch the height of a couple of the doorways at night. Would definitely stay again."

"A great place for our two night stay in Havelock. Everything we needed was provided and it is a very comfortable and spacious cottage. Great location - just a short walk to town and the mail boat wharf. Would definitely stay here again when we are back in the region. No hesitation in recommending Bora Castle"

"Over all good bar the sleeping arrangements and the odd bath room set up which could not be locked for privacy. Not suitable for easy access with 6 metre boat in tow very tricky driveway and would be near impossible without a 4 drive vehicle."

"Had a lovely ANZAC weekend at Fern Tree cottage - even went to the service at 11am just down the road. Spacious and warm, and just around the corner from the shops and bakery. Kids loved the rooms, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommended."

"Kaikoura was wonderful, our favorite spot in our trip, thanks to a kayak trip surrounded by dolphins and some great food. Judy's house is perfectly located, 3-4 minutes from restaurants, grocery store and the town. She is very friendly. Downsides - internet was a little spotty and dryer doesn't work so well, but the home is still a bargain."

"The view and location was amazing and the house was generally clean and comfortable with some dusty bits and some cobwebs. But the place is a bit tatty and run down. It definitely needs an update or a price change. The kitchen needs more equipment, wooden spoons, oven dishes and some decent knives. The upstairs bathroom door doesn't stay closed. The screen doors on the balcony are broken. There was a trampoline which my son was excited to use but the net is badly broken so not safe to...

"The property was easy to find, views from deck awesome. Had lots of walks on the beach, meeting the friendly locals (seals). Didnt see any people. Train track right next store - added character to the house!!"

"Terrific stay. As the accurate listing shows, the view, deck, spa, and water access are such a treat. And the kayaks and paddle board are a great addition. The inside is also lovely, and has virtually everything you’d want. I’ve never stayed at a vacation home that was this well kitted out. Stay here if you get the chance!"
