“Great Hotel for the Price”

We stayed at the Ibis during the RWC and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was more than adequate and very clean - certainly NOT small and dingy! Only downside was the pricing they put on for the weekend and we had to move to other accomodation. Would definitely use this hotel if I ever went back to Wellington.

“We love Wellington - and Ibis”

My daughter and I have just spent a short break in Wellington at the Ibis Hotel. We live in Auckland and this was our first trip to the capital. The hotel was great - we have lived in France and are used to the service that the Accor chain give and we were not disappointed here. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble - there was not a miserable face in the place!!. The room, with two queen beds was more than adequate with everything provided that you could want - including extra pillows in the cupboard without having to ask. The hotel was central with everything in walking distance - but also close to the bus routes if you had already walked too far. As for Wellington - we loved it there. So many things to do and so many great places to eat, drink and just chill. It really is a wonderful city and we will definately be back, and of course we will be staying at the Ibis. Thanks for an amazing all round first visit.

The Ibis is right in the middle of town but not on a busy road so very quiet. The staff were excellent as well.

A perfect hotel for a convenient accommodation in a city commonly overrated. It is a clean, conveniently located and good hotel for Wellington standards. Staff may not be very professional, but they are very good in the local context. Do not expect decent prices for Internet in the room. Parking in the hotel is dirty, dilapidated and dark (my wife was scared to go there alone and those doors refuse to revel the initial color masked now by generations of dirty hands and stuff). However, the quality of rooms and cleanliness make this a good hotel to stay in!

“Amazing hotel in a nutshell”

The Ibis Wellington is probably the most friendliest and cleanest hotel I'd ever been to. The staff were great, and were more than happy to help whenever we needed it, including directions to tourist activities. The hotel was always so clean as well, and our cleaning lady, Manu, was amazing and so lovely to talk to when you'd see her in the hallway! Location was also so convenient as it was so close to everything we wanted to do. All up, I had a great experience.
