Microwave, refrigerator and Keurig offered meal flexibility. Coffee, sugar, creamers, and disposable cups supplied. The owner, Jacob, was communicative and responsive. Some things to consider: cabin backs to M-115 so can hear road noise. Traffic at night was very minimal. Sleeping loft does not have...

"When I pulled up and saw the signs ( not that I’m political) on the property I started to cancel, but when I went in the lady (Pat) was very pleasant and friendly. I end up staying and I must say that my stay was wonderful and very relaxing. I loved that the cabin was very clean and equipped with everything I needed. I’m planning on going back real soon."

"We had a very nice stay. It was quiet, peaceful and the forest was beautiful. We really enjoyed the fire pit. The cottage was spotless. It was close enough to downtown Cadillac restaurants when we wanted to eat out. The Cadillac area beaches were nice. This is a dog friendly cottage. I am allergic to dogs but had no allergies. We received helpful communication from the owners during our stay. We had a wonderful time! I highly recommend this cottage. "

"This is truly a special place. It is a beautiful cabin in the woods! There are so many cooking supplies in the kitchen, and a water softener/tankless water heater, which we loved! Everything has been carefully thought out so that you have everything you need. We had so much fun relaxing with our 2 and 5 year olds. We enjoyed s’mores by the campfire and there are several boats for exploring the lake! I misplaced 2 wedding rings at some point- wanted to let everyone know in case you come across...

"We had a short weekend getaway here and it was top notch. The hosts have thought of every detail to make the stay amazing. We stayed with our daughter (8) who is in a wheelchair and was pleased with the accessibility of the cabin. Our 4 year old loved the great selections of DVDs and games and toys. We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of the forest. It was amazing to stand on the deck and see nothing but trees and hear NOTHING. Thank you for the wonderful experience,"

"A few of us friends just needed a couple days to hang out and do some snowboarding at Crystal Mountain, which is right down the road. We have stayed here several times in the past it’s always been clean and quaint. The addition of the hot tubs is a plus and it makes it more luxurious. We will be back!"

"This little community of cabins are nicely spaced. Giving it a vacation oasis. Probably a group of 10. Some are still in the process of being updated. The finishes are so wonderfully modern. The bed is simple but oh so comfy. Slept like a baby. Woke refreshed. You can stay and chill or wonder out and come back to relax. The only thing missing was a larger frying pan and some hooks or coat rack at the front door for fall and winter. Definently enjoyed my stay"

"Older cabins, small but comfortable with everything we needed. All was in working condition. It had air conditioning which we actually needed for the few days of 90+. The owner was fantastic to deal with, all camp rules clearly defined and nothing crazy. We have already made plans to come back. Highly recommend."

"We had a great time at this cozy cabin. Check in was hassle free, we punched in the door code and had the next 2 days entirely to ourselves. The hot tub was clean and hot, ready for us upon arrival. This cabin features a nice fire pit as well."
