"This was a great way to check out from the worlds fast pace. Make sure when you google this camp site with the city and State. 1997 Fisher Ridge Road. There are two number addresses in Kentucky the same. You want to use this city and state-Horse Cave, Ky. The owner met us at the Truck Love's Stop and showed us how to get back to the secluded camp site. I would not suggest to arrive when it is dark. It was very secluded which was great for my two dogs. I ask the owner where the nearest shower was...

"The She Shed was great. Cozy little spot. Stayed for three nights and slept great. The hosts we're awesome: helpful and hospitable. The cabin was stocked well enough that we could cook a little breakfast in the morning and head off to Mammoth Cave for some hiking during the day. Really happy I found this spot. "Through no fault of their own, Holiday Inn Express at Horse Cave was unable to host us. When we arrived to check in, the clerk regretfully informed us that power had just been restored after a multi-day regional blackout due to storms. Consequently, they were in no shape to take guests that night. They had tried to reach us when the power went out but Hotels.com had not provided our contact number.... Despite the fact that I had included it when I booked the room on the hotels.com site. For what it's worth the property looked clean and well taken care of and the staff were professional and friendly. We were able to book rooms at another hotel down the road, and we eventually received a refund from this website. I have no criticism of the property, and only wish Hotels.com had provided a means of getting in touch with us."
