Nice room, nothing fancy and could have been a little cleaner but was just wanting to spend the night, not move in. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Coffee was hot and ready when we woke up. Breakfast was available as well but we didn’t try anything. Stay here every year and always satisfied.

Save yourself

Pool was half empty and green. The riom smelled musty, and I had to run the water for about 10 minutes before it got hot. Staff was friendly. The hotel was run down.

Overall the property was very clean and also very affordable. Even though I wasn't planning on swimming, the pool was not in good condition at all. Also, I had a really difficult time getting my door to actually shut as well. I likely wouldn't stay in this hotel again, given the other choices around it.

The check in was good. The woman attendant was very friendly and helpful. The room was ok but the facilities in general were not kept up. There was masking tape peeling off around the walls in the hall upstairs; very sloppy looking. At check out the young woman would not give me a receipt that showed the price charged and zero balance. Instead it showed zero charged and zero balance; pretty much useless. She said it was because I made the reservation on-line (through Expedia), and could only get a useful receipt from Expedia. Every other hotel I've stayed at this trip gave me a paper receipt showing the full amount charged. When I said that to the lady she didn't even reply.

The front desk was polite and friendly. The room we got was renovated and clean, the parking next to our room entrance which is good. Good location, close to Crystal Onyx Cave, Onyx Cave and Dinosaur World. We enjoyed our stay there.

Awesome spot to unwind and restart.

The staff are awesome. Very Polite and courteous. The room was extremely comfortable and newly renovated. I would/ will most definitely stay here again.

This hotel gave us motel quality. The rooms were renovated, but it was not a high quality renovation. We stayed in an executive king room. The couch looked dirty. The white linens were stained. The toilet seat appeared to have dirt varnished into it somehow. We found dead moths in the room as well. It was an okay place to stay for the price, but don’t expect anything great. The desk staff were nice though.

Stayed one night. The hotel is older, the outside walkways could use some cleaning, but the room itself was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very minimal - no fruit, no decaf coffee. It definitely wasn't worth what we paid for the night, but at least it was clean.

The staff was nice. The property showed great reviews but…. Pillows were small and old. Room didn’t smell the greatest. There was trash all around parking lot and stairwells were dirty and missing lights. Shower was clean but gross in the way of lack of maintenance.

I have stayed at the property on and off for the better part of 20 years. I have seen a decline at the property but was always clean and nice. They are/ or have refurbished most if not all the rooms there and are very nice. However on this stay we found bed bugs! They did move our room since we figured if we had them then why take them to another hotel. We weee informed that it had been about a year since there last bed bug sighting. We were very concerned and cautious when getting home. We never found any but fumigated vehicle, all clothing and truck bed. We bagged up all closed and laundromat bound. This is a shame , always enjoyed going there but I can say that it will be my last.

Nothing wrong with the property; it’s just an older hotel and showing it’s age. It was clean, safe, and comfortable, just nothing fancy. One interesting comment: the pool is listed in the advertisement and property description and I let the pool affect my decision and selection in choosing to stay there. However, the pool was closed, covered, and NOT available for use.

The room was clean, bed was comfy and it had a coffee pot, microwave and fridge. WiFi was good also. They are remodeling the hotel so there was trash and bed frames, and furniture all over the place. Parking was difficult and inconvenient because of rugs and trash bins in the way. I couldn't watch TV because I couldn't figure out the remote. The volume was stuck on 72 and it either went to mute or back to 72. It wouldn't let me turn it down. And finding a channel to watch was another ball game. So I finally gave up. Plus there was one stairwell that one of the steps had a large hole in the middle of it. It wasn't the best stay.

Took 15 min of running the shower to get hot water. No shampoo in the room. The toilet paper wasnt on the roller it was on the back of the toilet. The staff was pleasent the room was clean.

Great Value

The motel was better than expected. Looks as if the rooms have recently been remodeled and they have done a good job overall. I mentioned a dripping tub (didn’t bother me but still they needed to know) to staff. My only complaint was that the room door was very hard to close and have latch… had to basically be slammed.
