"The location of this property is amazing, although a little difficult to find if you're using Google Maps. As its on the opposite side and end of the lane than shown. My host for the stay, Franca, has been lovely and offered some great suggestions of things to see/do on arrival. The rooms themselves are beautifully decorated, however I found the bedding and pillows particularly uncomfortable. Also, the rooms are not soundproof at all, which is understandable given the age of the building....

"This is the second time I've stayed at this property and once again it was a very rewarding experience. It's a family run hotel and there is a great deal of warmth toward customers. My room was well maintained and I really like the fact that there was always somebody at the front desk in the event I had a question. Giovanni was very helpful on arranging transport for me to the train station.. I look forward to return to Lucca when I do, hopefully I'll be able to stay at this property again."

Staff is also amazing here - they are not only very helpful but so kind - my mom has dietary/health restrictions so she wanted to heat up her own food and they were so accommodating. "Our room was large with a very comfortable king bed. The outside terrace and lounge provided us with the ideal space for some quiet enjoyment. The buffet breakfast choices were most enjoyable. The hotel location, just outside of the walls and a short walk to the station, suited us perfectly. However, the best thing about this hotel has to be the staff, who treated so well."
