“We'd stay again!”

What a quaint hotel to stay at. We enjoyed the boutique feel to it. The eating area for the breakfast was very nice. It's outside on the deck of the pool with a very exotic feel to it. The staff were very helpful. I liked that they offered a computer with free internet and printing. That was very helpful as we were there on business. Walking distance to everything. We had a fridge in our room and access to a microwave in the breakfast area that was very helpful. Good central location. Close to everything. Walking distance to shopping on Melrose and Robertson. Great price for what you get in Beverly Hills.

“convenient place for troubadour shows”

so, the main reason i picked this hotel was because it was located basically right across the street and within walking distance of the troubadour night club where i saw a show (giant drag, may 16, 2009). anyway, although the price for my over-night stay was a little more than i'd have liked to have paid, the hotel was cozy and the people working there were very friendly. the room i was in was small, but good enough for one person, one night stay. complimentary continental breakfast. nice roof-top deck with a good view of the surrounding area. only two problems i had were 1) electricity in closet where refrigerator was was broken. staff helped me move it to another outlet. 2) i arrived in l.a. at 9 am but they said i couldn't check in til after 3 pm (no available rooms clean). didn't know this since i don't stay at hotels much. i guess this is standard operating procedure? you should call them and find out before going yourself. overall good experience.

“Travellers from UK”

The hotel is very reasonable cost for what you get. The breakfast (modest European style rather than US but good quality) on a lovely enclosed terrace by the pool. The rooms are a little small by US standards but OK. Staff are very helpful and friendly, and having a parking space so close to the main parts of LA and Beverly Hills and Hollywood is great. We would recommend it for travellers who want a good base for all the sites, who want a good comfortable standard but can live without luxury, and it feels personal.

“Definitely going back”

This hotel was perfect for the price we paid. We had a small but clean room and very attentive front desk staff. The big suprise was that the courtyard pool and sundeck were beautiful, and we ended up spending a lot of time sunning there. Even with that cool courtyard, the hotel stayed quiet at night. There was a free breakfast every morning with fruit, cereal, and great breads, as well as coffee, tea, and cold water available all day and night. We loved it and can't wait to go back.

“Good value”

Hotel is a little old but very clean and good value for the area. They actually have real coffee cups for the free coffee and tea.

“Cute little place”

This is quite a charming place to stay. Free parking, internet and breakfast are great and my room had a fridge. The rooms are small, but well appointed and add to the charm. The location is fantastic, I will stay again for sure!

“Would recommend it to anyone”

Stayed there for five nights recently. It's not a 5-star hotel, but nor does it aspire to it... instead it just does everything just right. The people were really nice and courteous, the setting (secret courtyard pool) is perfectly done, and the rooms are modest but clean and comfortable. Oh, and it's in a great neighborhood. It made all the difference during my stay there.

“Delightful hotel, great location, friendly staff”

On a recent business trip, I stayed at the Beverly. While it is small, it has fantastic vintage appeal and excellent style. My room and bathroom were modest but both were very clean and comfortable. Though it wasn't quite pool weather when I stayed, the patio//lounge area was lovely and it's really charming to have a nice continental breakfast al fresco in March. The staff was terrific, everyone was extremely friendly, willing to help with any questions and the front desk gentleman kindly carried my bags up upon arrival and gave me a quick tour of my room/amenities. I still cannot get over how reasonably priced the Beverly is especially given that it is located in the posh design district of LA. I will absolutely stay there again, and I look forward to it.
