"We had a good stay, the view is by far the best feature, loved waking up and having breakfast in the porch looking at the mountains around us. Cabin is comfortable, bed might be a bit too noisy for a light sleeper, but reason for not giving 5 stars is that we found several pans/pots very dirty. I do appreciate they gave us a brand new sponge (not everyone does that). Host was responsive and accommodating even with a very late check-in time!"

"After hiking in Yosemite and Sequoia for six days, we were very excited to soak in the hot tub on this property. Unfortunately, it was dirty with a wide band of scum along the upper edge of the water. Needless to say we did not use it. That was very disappointing as the inside of the home was pristine and very comfortable."

"Nice place to sit on the porch and watch the birds and wildlife. Cabin is very cold as far as touches, cookware very old, few utensils, nothing else. Bed is good. Outside is great."

"Nice, comfortable cabin - we stayed there with 5 adults and two kids. The location is convenient and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Only issue we encountered was that the two bigger burners on the stove didn’t work - we were able to work around it but the heating the water for morning coffee/tea took a long time, lol! "

"It was a lovely cabin maybe a bit small but most are. Its proximity to the main road was a bit challenging. Also we weren’t informed notice of the location up the hill until a few days before our trip date and by then it was too late to cancel. Furthermore if you choose this property be prepared for a winding road up the hill. Overall a pleasant experience at the property itself with spectacular views."

"My family of 7 just visited Sequoia National Park for the first time, which was amazing. But we were recommended to visit Mineral King, which we had never heard of. WOW..it all I can say about Mineral King, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, (i've traveled all over the world). This house is located on a hill top above the river which is a perfect location to visit both parks. You can hear the river at night and see 'Moro Rock Dome' from all the windows facing East. "We rented a two-bedroom cabin for Memorial Day Weekend because I snore and my son, just back from an 18-month deployment in the Persian Gulf with the Navy, needed his own room. He wanted to see mountains and trees, something he missed in Bahrain. After driving hundreds of miles, we arrived only to find a note stating the cabin had power issues, and our host had moved us to a smaller, one-room cabin. "We had a lovely time there, easy access to the river was a big plus for us. I was able to do a polar bear plunge, it was awesome! We had deer right there one morning and sat out there with our coffee watching them. I will point out though, the water pressure was very low and not much hot water, no back to back showers! Overall, happy with our stay!"

"Accessibility to park and restaurants convenient. The cabin was very tidy and clean inside. Cabin definitely needs some repairs to help keep the flying and crawling night insects out. A good sealing around wall AC and door frames is needed. Old windows in bedrooms. One window doesn’t close all the way so flying little bugs come in through the screens."

"Property is conveniently located a few miles from the Park entrance. It is set up like a "duplex" sharing a wall with an adjacent cabin. Privacy was provided on the back deck with latticed dividers. Up far enough from the river to not worry about flooding with snow melt. Close enough to hear the rushing water and see it from the deck and a great mountain view. "Our two families really enjoyed the property for our short stay. The rental is nestled in a quiet neighborhood where there are wild turkeys, quail other wild life running around. The kitchen and dining area was a good size and accommodated epic meals and game nights. Bedrooms were cozy and extra blankets were a nice touch. The bunk room was a decent size but the two built in bunks are really meant for very young children under age 10. Always could use more towels given the rental is for up to...

"Fist time a sequoia national park. This cabin is very close to the park entrance. The cabin was clean and had a kitchen to save money for food, especially during this time. Privacy is also a bonus. Non of the cabins next to ours where close enough to hear any disturbance. Will definitely be returning and renting this cabin in the future."
