"Beautiful historic hotel sensibly and chicly updated. Staff very attentive. Our suite was quite comfortable..terrific bed and lovely bath including charming decor and sitting area. The gardens are amazing and you can walk down to the river Tamar from the hotel. Breakfasts amazing, dinner good. Small niggle; pillows are all the same. I like a softer version fwiw. "This property is ideal for visiting the north and south coast of Cornwall. We stayed for 10 nights , our only problem was drying clothes. The weather wasn't very good so trying to dry anything for 8 people was difficult. Tracy was easily contactable if we had any problems. Booking in was easy. Accommodation was great for 8."
