"This is a perfect little cabin in the woods. Well appointed kitchen, comfy sitting room and dining table, double bed, outside seating area and large shower room. The owner of the property was very helpful too (and on site for any questions). The tv didn’t work but that was because of a storm and the owner tried to fix it (no harm done). The one thing I would recommend to the owner is some mosquito screens on the windows so that you could open them and let some air in without being attacked."

"We had a magical week. The house and settling is stunning. Tropical greenery, wonderful pool, beautiful interiors. A kids wendy house kept the little ones busy for hours. Great location, easy to reach everywhere by bike (although some quite steep hills to get up to the house!). Close to a lovely bakery and grocery shop. Really easy access to the ocean side (incredible sunsets) and to the lagoon side. The only very slight niggle I have is having to pay extra for towels. We will definitely return...

"La maison est agréable avec ses grandes terrasses , vue sur les pins et la piscine . Elle est mitoyenne des 2 côtés mais cela ne gêne absolument pas . Il n’y a quasiment pas de vis à vis même dans la piscine . Elle est cependant au bord de la route menant au Ferret . La route est bruyante mais le son est couvert par le bruit des cigales . "Situated in Le Cannon which has a number of restaurants that specialize in oysters, this property is owned by a delightful woman from Bordeaux. It is a weekender/vacation apartment. Well maintained, modern appliances and delightful hospitality from the owner. We highly recommend this convenient location for a weekend or for a weeklong vacation. There is an antique shop nearby which we found interesting."

"Beach house style property, spacious, with fenced garden, parking and child’s playground nearby (if needed). Very well equipped Kitchen which was a delight. Walkable to sea front and Boulangerie. We purchased cleaning products as didn’t find them until last day but not to worry. We would stay again ! Thank you"

"We had a fantastic stay! The flat was perfect for our family with two small children. We were very impressed by Corine. She was very helpful with anything we needed but we didn't need very much. The place is well equipped with all the appliances a family could need and a well stocked kitchen. Very clean and well cared for. The decks on both sides meant we could have breakfast and dinner with a view. We can't wait to go back!"

Nice but be careful about breakfast
"Small boutique hotel that couldn’t be better located in Cap Ferret. The rooms are small but nice. The one thing I will note is that I booked on hotels.com and when I checked in, the lady handling the check-in mentioned breakfast was available in the restaurant off the lobby. I enquired if she was sure breakfast was included and she said yes. I had paid €400 per night so assumed she was correct. On checkout, the same lady said it hadn’t been included so ended up paying €50 for two breakfasts that weren’t remotely worth that spend. Could have eaten at the lovely bakery across the street for a fraction. When I reminded her it was her who confirmed breakfast was included, she agreed she had, didn’t apologise and charged me anyway. Wrote to the hotel expressing my disappointment and they didn’t even have the courtesy to respond (been 4days.) "
