"Our third stay at the wonderful Lefay Spa overlooking Lake Garda. Still cannot get used to the stunning view over the lake, it's quite something. Love this place so much, it is truly restorative for the soul and mind. Staff are quite wonderful, the Gramen Restaurant outstanding, especially as there is a tasting plant-based menu available (very rare). Our only gripe is the Limonaia restaurant where it's a struggle to find plant based dishes on the menu, plus the wine list by the glass is poor....

"Lovely site. Stayed with seven adults and two children end of September. Great facilities but would recommend a car as taxis are scarce. We still managed to get ferries etc mainly from Portese which is around 20 minutes walk, but a very steep hill coming back. Shop could have sold more provisions and without a car the Supermarket is a long walk. But saying that it is manageable. Saying all that we had a great time . "Fantastic location. The hotel was nice, the restaurant was good and the staff were friendly. Lago de Tenno is a gem. A quick walk down the hill from the hotel, the lake has lifeguards in the summer and there is a bar that serves basic food (panninis, pizza etc) and drinks during the day. It was not as crowded as Riva del Garda, so we found it to be a nice place to relax. Overall the hotel and the location are great."
